Only on bluemoon could the defensive midfielder get the most stick when the attack (or lack thereof) cost us the game

When we have ten players within 30 yards of their goal , he then becomes part of the attack , and he offers nothing , we shouldnt be playing him in games like this and that is Pep's fault , Rodri is good at what he does defending and holding against the better teams
Rodri gets shit on here but its Pep's fault , work that one out.

He’s only getting the most stick because people are sticking up for another shite performance.

Nobody seems to be sticking up for the others, who are full backs and centre halves, who are all being called shite n’all.
I can only be in one thread at a time mate, give me a minute!

He was poor today IMO. Just putting that out there. But so was everyone bar Gundogan and Eddie and Dias (who didn't have much to do).

Fairly decent player and would do well in another system but he was never good enough to replace Fernandinho, nor does he have the right attributes to play that role for us.

He’s not agile or quick enough to do it.

26 shots is not 26 good chances. 2/26 were him trying to find someone in the family stand.

We’d create more good chances if his first thought when receiving the ball was not “Where’s Rueben?”

Kev and Gundogan have made more backwards passes than him this season..As they did last season too

It’s not just his running. It’s his speed of thought. He slows everything down. When we’re forcing the game he should be the first one to be taken off.

He’s not absolutely shite and inept, but in a progressive team he’s not great outside of about 4 games a season where teams hoof it in the air (Burnley and Sheffield United)

He’d do alright for a top 10 side who are a little cautious, like Sheff Utd last season he’s perfect. For us, he’s meaningless and doesn’t really do anything 90% of games.
