A better team would of have made more of those terrible mistakes he made in the first 15 minutes

They wouldn't. The reason they managed to catch him on the ball is because they massively overcommitted to pressing him and killing his passing options. That partially worked because they managed to win possession back, but then all of their players were out of position and we won it back.

After 20 minutes he worked them out and they suddenly looked like they were a player or 2 down when he passed through the press.

The game was passing him by in the first 15 minutes, and when he got the ball he gave it away. He’s just too slow.

We are the only set of fans in the world who can't praise our CDM for our huge improvements made defensively

Dias and Stones are treated like Maldini even though they've had very little to do in all the games they've played together

With Gundogan finally getting the praise he deserves it's now time for Rodri to take all the flak

Seems some people believe that every other professional footballer has the stamina of Mo Farah, speed of Usain Bolt and passing ability of Zidane and Rodri has none of that so hes useless.

Rodri did his job very well, disagree all you want if that is what we need in midfield but that is what/who he is and its not going to change. Pep's teams have always had a player in very similar ilk to Rodri, its not changing any time soon.

Some on here been crying out for someone like Kante with plenty of legs and power, didn't do him any favors today did it because the rest of the Chelsea midfield disappeared. A bit like in some of our crap games this year, the midfield has disintegrated around Rodri yet people want him to be super human and cover 5 positions.

No player in world football will stop every pass or cross or never be beaten in a 1v1.

Didn't see the first 15 but he was excellent today from what I saw, the way he pressed high and pinched the ball back high-up the pitch like Fern did in his prime is what we've lacked since he joined, so more of that please.

Nightmare first 15 minutes against Chelski and then he just went up a couple of gears , he has been given a job to do in Pep's system its not glamorous but he invariably gets the team on the front foot , training every day with Dinho has got to rub off , i think he has another level to go to yet he could be immense over the next 12 months.
