Sorry, what do you mean turned it around? This graph shows him to be one of the most secure passers in the league with good ball progression for a 6.

And suggests that only Matic is better than him at passing whilst under the degree of pressure that Rodri is under in possession. Though to be honest I had no idea Matic was so good in those situations.

Yes! Only just seen the posts about the training pics. This is genuinely great news!! Isn’t it the 2nd time now that Rodri has seemingly been ruled out for months and months, only to be absolutely fine? Think he has a low pain threshold!

It feels like we're living in an alternate reality. Imagine a few months ago saying that Rodri, Gundogan, Cancelo, Stones would all be vital players for us in a title charge. Potentially all those were linked away and now absolutely undroppable. Long may it continue!

Another member of the "It's take a year for a player to fully embed in this team" club. Seems like he really understands how to play his role now, reads the game a lot better and he's calmed down on the high pressing he used to get sucked into.

The guy's passing is top top level, I can see why Athleti were pissed they lost him and why he's had comparisons to Busquets.

Always thought he was a class act, glad he’s now getting the recognition. I think we probably underestimate how much pressure our approach to games puts on the DM, he has to be able to break up play across a wide area of the pitch AND play fast intricate football in a high risk area of the pitch - he does both well.
