It’s a long time since we bought an actual BAD first-team player. Some might have been overpriced. Some might not have adapted to the team or league or country. Some struggled with injuries or age, or didn’t prove a good tactical fit. A very small number probably weren’t ever good enough for us, but still weren’t necessarily “bad” players

Rodri: "In the first period of the season, we weren't playing well individually/collectively. This changed once we got together and spoke more about how we could work together. We had a meeting, talked. We analysed what was happening, how the team could do better

Rodri: "We all agreed that every player could do a little bit more for the team. I feel it's the reason why we're doing so well right now as there are lots of players who are currently playing at an incredible level
 
Rodri on working alongside Joao Cancelo in the #ManCity midfield: "It's changed a little bit. Joao's a very dynamic player who helps me a lot in the build-up. He's got the ability to come inside, create great chances. We help each other in the build-up

Rodri: "I'm not that worried in my position because I have a partner. It's a new concept and I've had to adapt my game to it, but it's working very well
 
Not to sound like Pep, but on just so happy thinking back that we got this player.

One thing that sometimes goes unnoticed is having a third player who is very tall with our CBs.

Considering how short our team is compared to most other teams, I don't think its a coincidence we have been better in set pieces with a taller player here.
