Too short a period to judge anything. He played what 5 games?

I seem to recall people declaring Rodri shit after roughly the same time period.

Outside of the boot pass in the first half was unbelievable. Breaks the lines a lot more often than he seemingly gets credit for IMO

Would have been a real kick in the teeth if we conceded that, but he had a good game aside for that

Played really well until the last moment which could have turned the tie completely. He did the same thing early in the Chelsea game which is the game everyone points to being the turning point - what if Chelsea had scored?! what if Gladbach did?

Been really good since Christmas but these little mistakes are what knock you out of the CL.

He didn't give them a sniff of the ball until that pass right at the end. Very good performance.

Had a good game in the main except he and his treacle boots was mugged despite a 5 yard head start by zakaria that should have been punished and an absolute brain fart at the end should have been punished. Against a genuine contender he costs us 2 goals second half

Got bullied off the ball by Zakaria when heading back towards our goal, led to the backheel chance iirc.

Needs to be more aware in those situations or it'll cost us in this competition.

Only two chances they had came from him being switched off which is a shame as he was excellent otherwise.

He plays a big role in us controlling games. We're a bit spoilt with him and Fernandinho as the DM options.
