It's a bit weird that you two make the same spelling mistake. Not brothers by any chance? Or the same person?

What was the spelling mistake I'm on my phone?

And lmao at the conspiracy theory!

I do not accept that one loose pass at the half-way line, when the defence are in a good position is the cause of that or any other goal.

Players not getting close or challenging for 2 yards away was/is more of an issue
I did not say the "the cause", I clearly said " the root causes of the goal", read again. Did you see the game v. Porto, look on City's website, https://www.mancity.com/citytv/city-plus/city-porto-full-match-replay-63738894 and go to 16' 40" and watch, at 17' Dias, nearer the half way line than his own area, gives the ball away, are you trying to tell us the defence are in a "good position" at that point. Even Ederson wasn't back in his goal after his pass to Dias, the whole defence had to turn and scramble back. But this is Rodri's thread, he was one of the ones scrambling back, just like the rest. Do you stand over your comment, when the official video of the incident shows otherwise.

Their instead of there.

More grammar than spelling but you got me, apologies.

If you actually believe me and this guy are the same person then you have issues, it's hardly farfetched that two people have similar opinions.

I have seen Domalino saying he is sick of the same posters repeating the same moans game after game, maybe I am him too

Not sure how to respond to that as you haven’t really said anything.
Rodri has had more than enough time to settle and I repeat, too slow of thought and action with limited defensive capability and passing range. My only qualification to comment is playing the game to a reasonable level and watching avidly for the last 50 years or so. Not sure what your reality is but mine is that we have gone backwards markedly and I see Rodri as one of the several reasons for that.
About the same time I've been watching and Steve Mc Manaman, played to a reasonable level too, see how popular you are here by referring to his qualifications to comment. Why not respond to my reference to comparing a 24 yr old Rodri to a 28 year old Fernandinho, 2 different players at different stages of their careers. Have you a reference to videos of Fernandinho at 24 years old and how he played then.

"Easily marked to negate our build up. "

Again this just isn't true. He consistently makes the most passes in the whole team, how is he not contributing to the build up!

The issue with our build up and lack of chances is the tactical set up and lack of form of the front three more than anything else.

Rodri is worse against the counter than Fernandinho but better against the press, he is worse in transition but has a better passing range. They are very different players and if people want to just constantly state after each game that Rodri isn't Fernandinho then they can do, I just find it
None of that is remotely true.

Oh without a doubt there are about 10 posters who's first thought after a game is to criticise one of the following players.

Mendy
Gundogan
Rodri
Mahrez
Garcia

Without fail the first post they make is slating these either with a tiny thing they did wrong, repeating the usual 'hes slow/lazy/soft" they have posted 50 times already or inventing an issue that wasn't even their.

Aguero, Sterling and Bernardo have all been at best 5/10s in the last few games but these posters don't give any comment and just go at the above players as nauseum.

I actual wonder if they enjoy watching football as they are so negative all the time. A lot of them have thousands of posts so I wonder if it was the same a couple of seasons ago when we were steamrolling everyone.

I imagine it was but the players were probably Stones, Otamendi, Mendy and Jesus.
I guess some people enjoy torturing themselves by watching one of the best teams in the country over the past 10 years. 1 or 2 are almost like stalkers in the thoroughness of their observations ie. "he can only pass sideways" repeated over and over despite the club's website being full of videos proving otherwise. You are right about Stones etc., "Jesus will never be Aguero", that must be a shock to scientists, who would have thought 1 player couldn't be another.

Wtf has Steve Mcmanaman got to do with the price of fish? I couldn’t give a stuff about the age differences. Do you think Rodri will get faster as he gets older? look mate, it’s been fun but putting aside the comparison, if you genuinely think Rodri will feature in a PL or CL winning team then rock on. Good luck to you.
