It's a bit weird that you two make the same spelling mistake. Not brothers by any chance? Or the same person?

Well there's a novel way to get your post to cover half a page. Just as Rodri is not Fernandinho or Jesus is not Aguero, I am not EdersonsSmiley and he/she is not me or related to me. However I find the person's posts in general to be knowledgeable, intelligent and worth reading and sometimes responding to, as are a number of other posters. Something of a breath of fresh air on this thread, where some think only they have "the knowledge". Perhaps you would like to specify the spelling mistake (there are more than one) your investigation highlighted so that I/we can try to do better in future and not cause you to spend so much time on research. On the matter of conspiracy theories, your post has a very red look about it, but I will assume that it is just a bit weirdly humourous and I don't have time to check your credentials.

I know Rodgers comes up with some weird stuff but not this. So, you say,to stop City playing their preferred game he used his players to target Rodri, because he was "an easy target".
You don't waste valuable resources to target an "easy target" when you are trying to disrupt an opponents game plan, you target the one/ones trying to put the game plan into action, do you not understand what Vardy meant, they wanted to upset the passing and momentum of the game by blocking off the focal point, so did Porto and West Ham today. Give some credit to opponents, it's awful to watch but it is working, with a full squad hopefully we can find a solution.

I'm not quite sure what your position is but I wil accept that a lot of City's play goes through Rodders. The opposiiton know this therfore put him under pressure - stop him passing forard and its a win for them - that isn't groundbreaking.

Re Rodgers. People put resources into quick wins all the time i.e nice-to and need-to. They need to stop Rodders but it would be nice to mark KDB(but they can't). They put maximum effort into tackling the low hanging fruit. Easy targets such as the Windrush generation and the 'hostile enviroment'. Easy pickings

My position is that he shouldn't be on the pitch in the first place. He's rubbish

Don’t think he’s anywhere near as bad as some make out. Just not sure our system suits him either, but that’s not really his fault.

Wtf has Steve Mcmanaman got to do with the price of fish? I couldn’t give a stuff about the age differences. Do you think Rodri will get faster as he gets older? look mate, it’s been fun but putting aside the comparison, if you genuinely think Rodri will feature in a PL or CL winning team then rock on. Good luck to you.
You don't need qualifications to comment on football, whether you never played, played to "a high level" or like McManaman hold 2 CL medals, not really a fishy concept. You won't reasonably debate the points raised by my post or those of others so you just come back to "faster" and other catch words and ignore the question put to you . What CL winning team has Fernandinho , one of our greats, featured in, did I miss that. So I am not your " mate" ,I am a fellow City fan,and it has not been fun trying to communicate with someone who deflects from the points made by me and others, instead of giving reasoned responses, which appears to be the purpose of a forum. I don't know if Rodri will feature in a PL or CL winning team but I am not arrogant enough to declare that he won't, his whole career is ahead of him. Good luck to you too, try to enjoy the football while it lasts.

Really don’t know what points you are trying to make other than Rodri is great.
There is no debate because my eyes tell me he really isn’t.

More grammar than spelling but you got me, apologies.

If you actually believe me and this guy are the same person then you have issues, it's hardly farfetched that two people have similar opinions.

I have seen Domalino saying he is sick of the same posters repeating the same moans game after game, maybe I am him too
Or maybe I am Domalino. No. Their /There must be some Halloween stuff going on. This poster has been watching replays of The Incredible Hulk maybe, hopefully a Lou Ferrigno fixation is the only issue he has.

My position is read the sequence of posts. You now accept that a lot of City's play goes through Rodri, that makes him a prime target not an "easy target", close the supplier down and the now starved skillful players become easy targets. Did you ever give a thought to the possibility that stopping Rodri from passing forward is a credit to the opposition rather than a failure by Rodri, you seem to now agree that closing him down is a good thing, but it is always his fault not good tactical play by the opponent, which is what Vardy stated in plain English. If you think City buy rubbish you might find it less "hostile" to follow a team who don't buy rubbish, failing that join the "Pep" out group and when he goes apply for the job, don't forget to mention how you would clear the "rubbish", it would almost guarantee the job.

Thank you for proving my point about how difficult it is to communicate with you. Did you use those eyes to read anything I posted, sorry you cannot understand the points. Where in all 56 pages of this thread or on any other thread did I say or indicate I thought "Rodri is great", no where, not once, anywhere, he's only at the start of his career. If I thought he is great, now, I would say it. If I live long enough to witness the end of his playing career then I will have an informed opinion on how great or otherwise I thought he was.
