Don’t think he’s anywhere near as bad as some make out. Just not sure our system suits him either, but that’s not really his fault.
He wasn't bad at all today and looked tidy when we were on top. And for the first time today, I saw a bit of passion in him when he got angry at the backline for being out of position.
That's what we need, a lot of our starting 11 are far too timid, nobody will hold each other to account for messing up.
Hopefully Dias' vocal personality will rub off on the 20-25 year old age group and we can have a group of young hungry footballers coming through again, as it does seem we've lost the hunger to improve.
Back to Rodri - he's not bad, he's had moments granted - but he's certainly better than what is perpetuated on echo chambers such as here and on twitter.
By no means am I saying he's perfect, he's not - but it seems at this point he could play great for 85 mins and make one lapse in concentration and suddenly - the previous 85 mins is but a memory.
