He has improved a lot but he was a decent player before as well. Some of you just don't recognise one.
Absolutely spot on there was nothing wrong with rodders, however the football experts knew better, we've seen it with a few players over the years

he was nowhere near this level in first season, but last season he turned in pretty good performances and this season he is stepped up even from that level becoming one of the most important player on the team sheet.

still mad neither him and Dinho started in CL final. we might still lose it but we didnt give the best chance to ourselves in that game.
Disagree , he looked a class act from day one, slow yes but the difference in speed from LaLiga to the Premier is huge and takes time to adjust.

The guy oozes quality and is another one who get's us as a club, his celebration for the goal at Arsenal said everything.

I did that a couple of weeks ago - embarrassing for some.
Tbh, if Rodri was a completely isolated case I could get some of the posts. I would have disagreed with them as much as I did back then, but I could at least get the perspective. But it was not an isolated case.

What's the real shame is that there is an incredibly repetitive doubting of newer signings, or even older ones just in a slump. They all come up good in the end eventually, but for some reason people don't want to see the long term plan.

I discounted peps ‘powers’ in that respect early on, did it with adapting silva and Kun, however, Sometimes you have to stop thinking that you are the champ manager programmer and realise there’s a reason he’s the best coach of his generation…

Said it since the penny dropped probably 6 months in with him, what separates his genius is the same melting pot of all managers/coaches of this ilk, he elevates the ordinary to good and the good to great… time we all just sit back and watch in awe, it’s gonna be gone before we know it!

I remember watching his first games he had dinho behind him pointing and barking instructions, pep on the sideline pointing and shouting. Any time anything went wrong rodri seemed to get a bollocking off some player.

Its the toughest position to adapt to in a pep team cuz it's so vital to the way we play.

But I still remember thinking what a player.

Now that he has settled it looks almost unfair at times having him roam around the oppositions half picking off their passes. And scoring last minute winners and celebrating like a lunatic.

This guy is incredible and I can't wait to see how he develops next cuz he's still young. His physicality and football technicality just makes him so uniqur
