Genuinely interested to know the argument there. He's only one player we cannot afford to not play, everyone else is replaceable by another player or system.Arguably our most important player.
What argument are you looking for exactly?Genuinely interested to know the argument there. He's only one player we cannot afford to not play, everyone else is replaceable by another player or system.
People never know how important his is unless he's not on the pitch.Surprised he is not getting more praise but I suppose his role and work often get overlooked.
He was a vacuum, a rampart, and a metronome.
Arguably our most important player.
I guess I didn't phrase that right. What argument are you looking for exactly?
He’s really been great for us especially as he had so many people in his back the first season and a half. Good job we sold Plodri. Anyone know who bought him? This fella is the epitome of professionalism. There are few left in the image/money driven modern game. No bells or whistles, just complete composure and focus, in every game he plays. Ake, with perhaps Diaz and Bernardo are of similar mindset, but nobody even comes close to this chap.
