As good as he is, Fernandinho (in his pomp) has(IMO) been a level above him. That's not criticising Rodder's, but Fernandinho was the best DM the PL has ever seen. But Rodri will probably become a better player, that's a good yardstick on where Rodri is right now i think.

How many more games does he need so he won't get suspended for 10 yellows ?

Has to make it to the end of the 32nd game before the 10 yellow ban threat elapses. Further potential cup games may yet change the actual game but with brighton being postponed that's now the Luton home game. He can pick up a maximum 2 yellows from the next 5 league games, do that and the threat of a ban from an accumulation of yellows would end.
