With respect, Rodri's actions, though clearly undesirable, did not constitute violent conduct as defined in the laws of the game. There is zero evidence of any significant contact with MGW's throat. If it were any club but us I believe an appeal would be successful.

Rodri could and should have walked away. Why he kept facing that chihuahua I don’t know. I suppose it will never happen to Rodri again.

Whatever happened after he faced his small-minded opponent doesn’t matter really. He handed Taylor the opportunity.

This is very much the case. Doesn't excuse Rodri losing his cool to the extent but it is bloody annoying that poor refereeing contributed significantly to our player getting a three match ban, which is excessive for what Rodri did.

Its the one thing in football that I hate with a passion ... feigning injury. One of the worst for City was Demi who would go down like a fucking big Jessie even when a slap got him on the chest and he went down holding his face.
Fucking hate that more than VAR.
