Phil wanted to help but accidentally made it look worse. Rodri should have avoided the altercation but he didn't deserve a red card, imo.

This just shows how much of threat he is and is getting the respect he deserves now. More to come in the future so we need a plan B if he gets marked out of game.

Something Rodri has to get used to has the season goes on with his ever evolving game. That pass to set up the goal yesterday was utterly sublime.

Look at rival fans reactions below shared image from X yesterday for him getting sent off below proper celebrations but we are not one man team.

Rodri gets that much needed time off. Pep has to work out plan without him.

If we beat the Tarquins without Rodders, KdB and potentially others it will break them. Fuckin Game On!
 
He needed a rest. Let him go back to Spain for a week for rest, relaxation and some warm weather. When he comes back he’ll be rested and ready to go again.

His sending off really reminded me of when I was about 22 and wanted to get sent off, so I could leave early and go to a gig with my lass... and my punch also didn't connect, making it look stupid and I had to convince the ref I meant violent conduct. The victim deserved it. Got to the gig and the lass was happy. Missed 3 games after, sadly. So did Rodri go to see Busted?

The more I see the whole thing, the more I think City should appeal.

What Rodri did does not merit a three match ban.

Gibbs-White goes down because Phil tickles him.
