Wouldn't mind seeing the clip of him having a go at Foden for letting Barkley waltz past him

Not because it was Foden, but just because its the kind of will to win that Rodri brings which I think rubs off on other players

Rodri is head and shoulders the best player in the league in my opinion, he takes a top class City to a world class City. The guy has got a desire to win which clearly is needed in the side as well as his incredible ability

So pleased we've got him at this age, he really has got another good 5 years at the very top of his game, especially as he doesn't rely on pace, and stays clear of major injuries
 
Monster today. Played like he was against literal kids. Is going to find himself suspended again before the seasons over though and that will be a longer one. another yellow today and it wasn't neccesary. Has to better recognise when not to pick them up, they're given out much more frequently now. We're seeing unprecedented number of suspensions these last few weeks across the league, there's a few more of our players on the brink before game 19 and we don't have the squad to handle it, something we have to look at.
 
I get physically ill when he gets booked :(


That said it did think that was a legit yellow. But how the decapitation of Foden's leg is not a yellow is still a bit of a head scratcher.
 
Just saw a crazy stat. We haven’t lost in 44 games across all competitions when he has played. That’s how important he is.
