16 | Rodri - 2023/24

The only player in our team who will put a foot in to tackle, apart from a couple in defence obviously.

But anyone in front of the back 4 cannot tackle, and if they try, they foul, it looks so bloody awkward at times, 3 of them today trying to tackle one and he beat the lot, fucking tackling is part of the game, but there are so many in this team that cannot do it.

Should make it to at least 3rd on that list when you look at our next few fixtures.

Not saying we'll win all of them as Everton and Newcastle away in particular will be difficult but if Rodri is in the team then I expect us to get at least a draw from both games.
 
This is the undesputed best Dm in the world but his game has evolved so much and his creative input dwarfs more than others in this position.

Below shows we are depend on him heavily in all phases of the game. Being only Dm in this list shows this. He needs support and hopefully Nunes finding his feet and Kova staying injury free he can thrive more in this role.
