Another 60 mins under his belt, no where near peak Rodri but hopefully he can get back to his old self later in the season eg the one completely controlling the midfield.

Of Rodri doesn’t want to sign a new contract would we sell him or just keep him let him go for nought when he is 31? I’m not bothered about the money but the club might thing that amount is to high to refuse if Rodri doesn’t sign a new contract!

Think we’d have to sell him. Can’t see Madrid going near the price papers are quoting though

I can see it if Rodri regains his pre-injury form till the end of the season. He's a top professional and can play at high level for another 4 years. If Alonso sees him as key to to his tactical plans, they'll pay 100m or what it takes.

Let's hope Viana can convince him to sign a new contract.
 
Fuck selling him for anything if Wharton is 100m I wouldn't sell rodri for 500m let him go on a free if he wants football isn't a financial exercise see savinho new contract

Will the club though? They might think 2 years more of Rodri is worth more to the team than 100m+ regarding Real Madrid they tapping him up now to get him on a free or stop him signing a new contract! They did it with a few players,Trent one of them and they would have got in contact with him on that 2 year left on his contract mark!
 
They lack creativity beside Güler so I am not surprised at all. If city has someone in mind it would make sense. you never know thanks to the ACL.

Rodri won’t his best till next season it took VVD that long to get back to where he was..

Against Napoli he looked brilliant even before the red card. Wouldn't be surprised if he got close to his best before Christmas.
 
Madrid turn up just at the right time for his team to negotiate the biggest contract of his career (not counting any future deal in Saudi...)
