A bit overrated for me, though.
Without his injury he'd probably have done it in about 100, considering he had about 8 or 9 sub appearances making his way back and the other 10 apps he made in the PL last season were him miles off fitness.

I honestly think he would have done it in less than 100 if not for both major injuries.Without his injury he'd probably have done it in about 100, considering he had about 8 or 9 sub appearances making his way back and the other 10 apps he made in the PL last season were him miles off fitness.
Doesn't dictate play either. He might get assists (or used to), but the game never ran through him like it does with Kev or Silva.Ozil can be fantastic and a real creative machine when he can be bothered. He's not a great player like he used to be, but the guy that showed up from Real Madrid was a class act.
got his 50 assists record, but that was very quiet game from Kev. Just couldn't make a right pass for most of the game. For his usual standards, it was like he is on some kind of programmed delay.
Current top ten assists in general reads very worryingly for the rest of the league. If he stays fit he should easily break the assists record for a single season (20).
