It is believed Kevin De Bruyne has suffered a slight tear or sprain of his shoulder ligament and Manchester City’s medical staff are monitoring him closely. City may make a late decision on De Bruyne to give him the best possible chance of being fit. [@MirrorFootball]

Manchester City will be reluctant to risk Kevin De Bruyne unnecessarily, following his shoulder injury, with Premier League games against Arsenal and Burnley coming up and the second leg of the Champions League last-16 tie at home to Real Madrid. [@MailSport]

Negredo says hi
I was 20m away from Negredo when he got the shoulder injury at Upton Park. He was never the same again.
Fingers crossed Kev will be carefully managed towards whatever recovery he needs. Best case scenario he reports that Voltarol did the trick and he starts at the Swamp.

400k a week, I doubt it.
hes on 350k already. if you think the players we have like this play for less than that then you are deluded.

City are going to have absolutely mammoth wage bill as a result. Its expensive being elite club.

We will have the worlds largest wage bill of sports pretty soon. But thats good because it will reflect the squad quality.

Being the best means you pay the highest amounts. No getting away from that.
