It's kind of telling that even a rusty Kevin de Bruyne still creates some of our best chances.

That was a typical bad KDB performance. Spends most of the time making you question him and yet at the same time he could have single handedly been responsible for at least 3 goals if others finished better.


It's extremely encouraging how high his low bar is. A misfiring Kevin is still a better player than most.

Well off the pace but we know he will be back terrorising defneders very soon , needs a couple of games to get his rythm back , would start him against the Germans and West Ham so he can quickly get back into his groove.

Isn’t it risky to start him against Monchengladbach? That’s not a game to get him back into his groove. Everyone playing that should be at their best form

Way off. Could and probably should have had a goal and 2/3 assists which is testament to how brilliant he can be but given the form of gundogan and Bernardo I don't think he should be Continually thrown in until he finds form, has to earn his place like everybody else. Bench midweek for me.

Miles off match fitness. Not even at 50% in my opinion - I was amazed to see him starting.

Classic example of why we should be using 'reserve' / under 23 games to bring players back up to speed, like we did years ago.
