Looked a lot better but still a long way to go but much more engorging signs, let's hope he withdraws from the Internationals and has a nice holiday.

Feel very protective of him. He's such a wonderful player but he looks as if he's been in the wars with injuries and so on. Given how well the team are currently playing, I'd love him to get a break and recover properly. I have an awful fear that at some point his body will just say no and he'll have to retire...

can't believe people were questioning if he still could control a ball, like as if that magically vanishes overnight. Even if KDB declines these kind of players have incredible longevity because of his passing range an IQ like pirlo did. but for attackers like sterling once he looses his pace he will be totally gone

Explains his patchy form since the injury he picked up with belgium

Kevin De Bruyne: “I came back with a lot of pain after the holidays, and then at the start of the season, I had my face against the wall. I’ve had some serious pain, but it’s starting to get better. I just needed more time than expected.” [

"Kevin De Bruyne has not yet let his star sparkle as we are used to from him this season. What is the reason for that? "I haven't had any rest, both mentally and physically after the European Championship," says the Red Devil. At the Red Devils they are counting on Kevin De Bruyne for assists against Estonia tomorrow. But things have not run smoothly at City in recent months for De Bruyne, who is still dry in terms of assists in the Premier League this season. What is the reason? De Bruyne takes us back to the month of July. "After the European Championships I normally had 3 weeks of vacation. As a person I had to be able to relax in those weeks," says De Bruyne. "But after a week my ankle was completely swollen. I was in a lot of pain. I was already preparing for the new season, which started 2 weeks later. As a result, I had no rest, both mentally and physically." "As a result, I was out for a month when I returned to City. That was something I hadn't thought of before playing the match against Italy." De Bruyne refers to that European Championship match against Italy, because he had to deal with the pain in the quarterfinals due to an ankle injury (torn ankle ligaments). A souvenir of a tough tackle he took in the 1/8th finals against Portugal. Is De Bruyne now pain-free? "That's not too bad," answers the City-Belgian. "I train every day and I'm always available.""

I was sure before the Italy game, that the injury couldn't have been too serious, because I thought City would've been told about it and they wouldn't have wanted him to play. Maybe vetoed it. It's later that we were told that he had actually torn his ligaments in the game prior. I'm soo confused about all this.
