Because playing for his country is a big thing for him, playing for us is his job, he is not a city fan.Why is he not getting a rest when he is still uncomfortable with the injury he got last time

I would agree, he looked far better against the rags, and last weekend for Belgium, hopefully he is well on his way back to his best.On balance I would rather he play. He doesn't seem bothered by the injury now and want him at peak fitness, only game time will give him.
Yes he could get injured again as he has previously when on international duty. It's a risk, but as he wants to play , he probably will against Wales.
