No one over 30 is as fit as they were at 25. Kev is past his peak but still brilliant in moments and needs to be managed carefully.

Play Gundogan and Bernardo together, when they are both in the midfield we move the ball more quicklk or at least we used to.

Very true but there is zero contribution other than that, and that is the problem, especially when half this side are passengers like him.

The problem is that he's as likely to create chances for the opposition at the moment. It's not just that he's not playing well, it's that he also looks totally unfit. He was struggling after 10 mins yesterday.

I hate to say it but Bernardo doesn’t deserve to be anywhere near the starting 11 just now. His form/sulking whatever it is has coincided with Kev’s struggles, Gundogan’s inconsistency, Rodri’s understandable fatigue and Pep’s complete lack of trust in Phillips.
