Liverpool in the cup is his last stand out for me, he’s been way below since and majorly impacted from the call out from the World Cup… he’ll inevitably come again though and a purple patch from here on in has us positioned perfectly!

Good shout, i had forgot about that game. I thought he looked 10 years younger today compared to Spurs last week. Much quicker, sharper and creative. Hope this is him getting back in shape, like he flipped the switch in the 7-0 vs Leeds last season, and then was brilliant for the rest of the season.
 
Looked like he gave a fuck yesterday,and that made his performance something close to what we know he's all about.

Hopefully it's a 'welcome back'

Was around this time last year he came into some incredible form and was probably the single most instrumental player in the title win. Same again this year isn't out of the question.
 
Great finish but otherwise anonymous. We need him to have a much better half here
