Kev once again with two unbelievable moments of quality that put the game to bed. Shout out to Jack for a lovely weighted pass for the assist - looks easy but sometimes those sort of passes are over played or under hit, Kev didn't have to change stride. Love our Kev.

Some moments of magic but he can't be getting caught on the ball as much as he was in the first half vs a side like Leipzig or they'll make us pay.

He was off in several instances of the game, but when he turns it on...magic

Looked like he had been ill for large portions of the game but he's come off the pitch having played the two key passes for both of fodens goals and scored a world ie himself. World class players make the difference. He did it 3 times in a game you could describe as underpar.

I think what we saw tonight is just what KDB is these days.

A younger KDB alongside Merlin was a level we are likely never to see again. Two number 8s who basically had everything. A perfect storm of two players in their prime. We’ve lost Merlin and unfortunately KDB is now at a different stage of his career, where he doesn’t have the consistency he used to. That doesn’t mean he isn’t still a fantastic footballer, who can do things even now that others can only dream of.

Dare I say it but KDB these days reminds me a little of the 1st season of that ugly, rat-faced, moaning **** from United. Average for long periods, but then comes up with the goods. Kev isn’t as good as he was, but he’s still better than the vast majority.

The goal and the pass he made to Ake in the second half was pure quality. But his overall performance was average.

I thought despite his radar being off, he was involved in the game from the start and was involved in all 3 goals with a great goal to finish. This is why De Bruyne has to play because he can have moments of genius in games where he is a bit off. I don’t think we have any other player who can do that. When they are off, they are off big style.

Ridiculous to the sublime at the moment for Kev , last couple of games he has played he couldnt hit a barn door and then he curls in a 30 yarder , we need him to be more consistent if we want to win trophies this season

As others have said, he’s been off his best as of late, but he continually shows how he only needs one chance to show his class.

I shudder at the thought of when he leaves us.
