With Sterling going now, officially our longest serving first team player. I hope he takes the captaincy tbh, feels like our guy and our leader

Thing is even though he is capable for it he couldn't careless whos going to be a captain and will let someone take that role if they offered themselves.

Gundo and Dias is also capable, they will get voted ahead KDB in the next captain voting.

I think KDB's probably more comfortable being a part of the captains' group than just being the outright captain as he might at some clubs.

Absolutely capable and I'm happy with him however high up in the leadership order he ends up, but I like that we have a group of leaders.

Somebody said it in the match thread but I think this could be a special season. He’s always class but seems to have this mature, determined aura surrounding him at the minute.

He knows he’s the best player in this team and thrives off it. Plus he’s one of the captains/a leader now.

The first goal was pure quality. Going to be fun this season watching him supply Erling.

He's always been one of the best finishers in the world.

He has become like a second striker in our 442 press, which I think overtime is the perfect position for julian to take over, playing off the main striker.
