If he’d played as many minutes as Rodri in the league he’d be on 25 assists based on his per-minute average this season. That’s mental for a player in decline
The Ignore button is your friend with these clowns. But assists mean nothing according to the idiot on the last page that has been saying it all season , lol
I love the ignore button. It's made the site a lot more enjoyable. The Ignore button is your friend with these clowns.
Have you ever posted anything that hasn’t been utterly shite?Good assist, but getting a G/A has been covering up his poor performances over the last few weeks. It's a bit of a conundrum for Pep.
He’s got a point to an extent. Not saying i agree it’s currently a conundrum because knowing he’s always likely to produce an assist or come up with a great goal added to the fact he works hard. Makes him well worth his place in the side. All that said there is no denying he’s on the decline. He’s lost a couple of yards where he could burst past a lot of midfielders in his pomp. So can lose the ball a fair bit now in those situations.Have you ever posted anything that hasn’t been utterly shite?

If you’re watching him and still think he’s the same player he was a year or 2 then fair play! He’s clearly not he’s lost a yard or 2 of pace and that leads to any player losing the ball more when dribbling or running with it. Even happened to Messi. On the other hand i’m not questioning his position in the team at the moment.Just slightly more politely phrased bollocks
I think he has done brilliantly to come back from such a big injury and provide the goals and assists that he has at his age. He's not at the level he was at last season, which was insane. The same could be said of Haaland as well. But both of them suffered fairly significant injuries ("very", in Kevin's case). That's bound to affect players. A 70% De Bruyne and Haaland are still automatic picks though, in my opinion.*
*Other opinions are available.
He does look slightly slower than before the injury, but that could be down to him getting older. If you’re watching him and still think he’s the same player he was a year or 2 then fair play! Yeah, i remember the Brentford away game where he had a very good game but at one point he was trying to get away from a pretty average paced player who got back at him. I thought then have injuries and age taken away that burst? Was hoping he was still not fully match sharp after his injury but months on it’s clearly not coming back.He does look slightly slower than before the injury, but that could be down to him getting older.
