17 | Kevin De Bruyne - 2024/25

Little reminder, Pep said 'pubis bone'. Irritation in that area takes a long time and needs rest, not much more you can do.

Come back too early and the same story starts again. The time til it's 100% healed is impossible to predict, different to a muscular issue like a hamstring.

Leroy had it in April this year, in July they decided to make a groin surgery and NOW he isn't back to play 90 minutes. Ok different case, but I'm prepared to see a hopefully fit Kev not before next year.

With problem in the pubis bone you can't run with intensity, can't shoot with intensity and change running direction kills you. Exactly what Kev is doing best.

Hope I'm wrong but the sad truth seems to be: patience.
Think this is something people just aren't getting, RE: Kevin's injury. The groin area is one of the most awkward injuries you can get because you can walk and run just fine, but, as you say, the pain starts when it comes to kicking a ball or changing direction suddenly. It's why it's such a weird one for the medical staff and for Kevin himself, because there's no clear path to recovery, it just stops hurting one day and you have to hope that you can resume normal footballing activities without the pain coming back.

OIt’s called an opinion. As for getting to know the players well they play for my team and that’s about it on a personal note they don’t know me and I don’t know them . As for my posts being stupid then if we have had a great summer recruitment.
So do you not care when they get a bad injury that they have to have an operation and months of rehab ? Do you think kev should be playing and by the way that will probably end his playing career if he is still in pain ? I prefer my way of understanding them as a person and not just a robot for your entertainment

Yes you are correct that I don’t want anyone getting injuries and tbh I don’t want to see kdb even on the bench untill he is ready to be able to play but this is why I’m getting pissed atm because we are now in a crazy position where we have got players who are clearly not ready to set foot on a pitch but are having to rush because of a terrible summer transfer window . Oh I long for the days of having 2 players for every position so. In reality kaz you are right that I do care for the players .

Kev has been a superstar for us but time is against him now. He will have an immediate impact on his return because he is such quality but we will no doubt run him into the ground again and have him chasing down pointless lost causes in a high press. A few weeks in he'll be injured again .

Makes me cringe seeing him belt after the ball.
When he’s back let him just jog about in a sort of sausage shape just before the D and title 5 is incoming.
