Unfortunately I can't see the club renewing his contract based on his lack of availability over this season and the previous oneThis is true , saw kev say it himself , everytime he goes to shoot he is getting pain , he had five months out ffs , there were always going to be problems returning
As for contract talks , kev said he has put it on hold because of the injury , he negoiates for himself and it can be done quickly and easily another time
Depends if he's willing to have reduced game time and salaryUnfortunately I can't see the club renewing his contract based on his lack of availability over this season and the previous one
A fair few players on that list would still be squad players with limited playing time even this season. Certainly not players who you'd be hoping would get you to the final stages of the CL. Ultimately any player who leaves our academy will be the best player in a struggling PL side. It's not just signings either, look at the number of academy products and players who were on our books we've let go who are now performing at a high level in the prem and for other clubs around Europe:
Palmer, delap, rogers, hardwood bellis, bynoe-gittens, frimpong, lavia, porro, nmecha, douglas luiz... the list goes on.
The thing is he has won everything there is to win and in my opinion will go down as our greatest ever player. If I was him I'd be tempted for a swansong in the MLS - less intense league and a warmer climateDepends if he's willing to have reduced game time and salary
You think Pep would play him if it was going to cause further issues? If this is true it's stupid to play him.
But not working now is it .Think you will be sorely disappointed. Khaldoon and Soriano have final say.
We don't get into bidding wars for players who don't want to come here. Worked out well so far.
So it's not worked for 7 games so just blow the whole system up...right.But not working now is it .
Oh ffs. Shut up with this constant crap, are you just posting that he is a **** to get a reaction or are you just vileYou think Pep would play him if it was going to cause further issues?
He has left out Stones, Ake , Akanji and Dias to save them and get their benefit long term and not to push them whilst carrying niggles.
Pep's press conferences where he questioned KDB's injury was telling for me and very out of character with the great man.
I think us not offering a new deal has pissed off KDB.
Calm down, if you believe Pep would play any player and risk aggravating an injury for the sake of 10/15 mins in a game we have already lost you need to think about what your posting.Oh ffs. Shut up with this constant crap, are you just posting that he is a **** to get a reaction or are you just vile
He has to play some mins of a game and see how it feels , he is coming back from a bad one and it will take timeCalm down, if you believe Pep would play any player and risk aggravating an injury for the sake of 10/15 mins in a game we have already lost you need to think about what your posting.
You have a very short memory, remember Claudio Bravo, a player you utterly vilified in a truly disgusting way?
You attitude to Bravo was shameful. He has to play some mins of a game and see how it feels , he is coming back from a bad one and it will take time
Did i call bravo a **** for playing football ? The fact you think calling one of the top two best players who ever pulled on our shirt , a **** is disgusting
There has to be something in the rumours of a fall out with Pep nothing else explains his lack of minutes when he’s fit
Yeah refusing to bring him on until we're two down suggests something is wrong.
A run of games in his condition? Fookinell, man. Glad you’re not my doctor. He was excellent at the EUROs, strange that so many are writing him off so early in the season. Give him a run of games at least, pathetic..
Were they all way off their current levels though? Or were they just afforded chances to play and show what they can do?"Palmer, delap, rogers, hardwood bellis, bynoe-gittens, frimpong, lavia, porro, nmecha, douglas luiz... the list goes on."
Those players left at a level way off their present levels, Luiz had to leave because of a work permit issue.
Lavia has taken 3 seasons to get up to a PL level, Frimpong still not sure, Palmer was a freak situation that nobody could have predicted, he he must be surprised how well his move has gone.
Delap was struggling for goals and games at Stoke and Hull.
You mean similar to the likes of Nunes, Doku, Savinho and Philips then? Those 4 alone signed for over £180m.A fair few players on that list would still be squad players with limited playing time even this season. Certainly not players who you'd be hoping would get you to the final stages of the CL. Ultimately any player who leaves our academy will be the best player in a struggling PL side.
Harsh to include Doku and Savinhi. 22 and 20 so lots of time to develop and improve. We will reap the benefit in time. How old were mane and Salah when they really peaked? Let’s invest in them. The others you can have! You mean similar to the likes of Nunes, Doku, Savinho and Philips then? Those 4 alone signed for over £180m.
Can you not see my point?
