Took up some great positions tonight in the first half, but his decision making and final ball was poor. The less said about his second half performance, the better. He’s miles off it and I think that could be that at the very top level for him now.

So sad to see him reduced to what he is at the moment. We really can’t afford to carry someone who can’t run, can’t move his feet, struggles to keep the ball and isn’t really creating anything. Certainly not in games like tonight.

The thing he is supposed to be good at as well, his passing, was awful.
