18/19 home and away kits ?

I don't moan. I'd have umbro back and be happy for City to pay them. I supported them with umbro, kappa, le coq, reebok, umbro again and nike.

I'll buy the shirts with my bank balance in mind, not City's. I've put countless pounds in over the last 30 years.
As I said, "your money, your choice," and my 2009 Umbro shirt is still my favorite material, but the reports I read were that it was roasting for players to play in.

Every team wears the new recycled pop bottle synthetic shirts because they help wick moisture, keep players cooler and, as an added bonus, are dirt cheap to manufacture!!!

I merely made a point that tons of guys on here tell the manufacturers what they want, and then immediately post that they ordered theirs from China and got a great deal!? Can't have it both ways. City get paid by the shirt manufacturer for advertising and revenue from shirt sales. Ifthe shirt sales don't meet targets, then the next contract is less money to CFG. Simple. There's a reason some teams get far more from their kit deals than we do.

Edit: Sorry for mentioning the "snide site." Wasn't intending to cause a problem, but thought I'd seen it mentioned numerous times on here before. Apologies for making work for anyone.

Yeah but if you think the reason is that some City fans buy shirts from Thailand or china or whatever you are deluded.

As an aside, go into a shop and feel the Umbro shirts v the Nike shirts. The Umbro topa feel vastly superior in my opinion. I'm not even sure if they are made of the same materials.

But again that's not what I replied to. I'm not talking about snide shirts from China. I'm talking about that knob moaning every time someone saves a tenner by buying it from sports direct or very.

Also, sites in China are the reason we get shit deals and the other teams get bigger contracts - why? Do sites in China only sell City tops?

No, they just sell a lot more shirts than we do, have greater global exposure and are seen as perennially successful.

Yep, that's me, deluded. Global shirt sales are clearly a factor in the size and scope of a contract. I mentioned other factors.

Now, did I ever say it was "the" reason? Nope. Thanks for playing.
