Yeah it's not maroon at all. It looks like Vimto purple/pinky/burgundy, but Vimto is a traditional Mancunian thing too isn't it?

I think it shall be named "the Vimto kit"! Really like it though. Nike have FINALLY come through with good kits.

Maroon is a brown/red mix
 
Best kit we've had for a while, that. Nice to see Foden on the promo shots too.

That's not the maroon i remember from the 60s and 70s it was a deep maroon, that's purple/pink, uuuggghhh
 
While there are a few things I don't like about it, it's the best away shirt Nike have ever given us, and we're playing in traditional colours. May even end up buying this one! Really wish I could get a long sleeve version though.
