How about singing (rather then booing) :

C`mon CITY, C`mon CITY, C`mon CITY

It`s time to return to what we are good at. Classic CITY humour, having fun, getting behind the team and making our views known. This will be a laugh, it could get the stadium rocking, it will stop us dividing ourselves and bring back unity. Sticking together is what has kept us strong and got us through those years when it was less than good. Now is the best it has ever been but great times rarely last for ever. Lets bring the smiles back, the CITY way.

Booing the CL anthem had its moments and time but has now run its course, is achieving little and could be counter productive. It is time to drop it like we have done other things and move on. The alternative is funny, it will engage our fans, it's upbeat, it will lift the atmosphere at the start, it's classic CITY yet will still get the message over. Lets do it.

I have no idea if this was written tongue in cheek but actually I think you are onto something here.

The irony of this is intentional. It could really work. Lets bring back unity, stop the division between fans and have smiles and fun at the start of CL games whilst still getting the message over. Yes, it will be lost on some, at first, but will be picked up by the media and will show that CITY fans still have a great sense of humour at the same time as not bowing to UEFA who have been infiltrated with `plants` from the Rags and the Rags of Germany.
 
Not sure how it will go down or will the sarcasm get lost.

But im pissing myself laughing with the thought of a stadium full of fans with beaming smiles on their faces laughing & singing "we love uefa, we do".....

It would be very funny if everybody did it, if it was belted out loud it would work.

Like the idea very much, shame we don't have many others who share your attitude on this. Fairly convinced they enjoy pissing and moaning about everyone and everything.

Good man. Please spread the message. It`s time to bring the fun back. The football is pure enjoyment and class. Lets replicate it off the pitch.

Cheers. There is a growing change in attitude and an increasing majority who want to move on and inject a more positive vibe into Champions League nights. Please spread the message. Lets bring the fun back. Our football is class and a joy. Lets be the same in the stands.
 
It's a great idea. It seems like our players are now having a different approach to the competition and so should we. This could potentially create great atmosphere.
 
I’m liking this, thinking completely over the top quasi Argentina 78 ticker tape jobber to accompany the singing
