1894 Singing Block for West Ham

Couldn't hear you from 111 as it was pretty noisy where we were

But I bet you were heard from other parts of the ground.

Great idea and flags looked class.

Not sure about 117 though, an area of the ground where the atmosphere is already good and you can be drowned out by away fans. North East or North west corner would be good to try and get an atmosphere all round the ground? (The south end doesn't need much encouragement).

Keep up the good work.

It was noticeable from the top tier that you lot in the south stand were starting a lot more songs than usual. I assumed it was this idea in action.

But you have to realise that singing in the south stand is effectively a waste of time because the songs won't spread right because of the away fans or left because it's the old mans stand. So good effort to you all, but the overall atmosphere will only ever improve if all the singers are in the same area, or very close. As it stands you have a big group of potential noisy fans just doing their own thing in that area of the ground.

I thought it may be a good idea to place themselves in 107 perhaps, carrying on from (in my opinion) the loudest parts of the ground in 111/110/109 I think it would carry it further down and generate some more noise. Just a thought anyway although I have considered the standing may be frowned upon.

I sit in 212 every game, I could hear the lads in 117, good effort and hope you get more tickets for the Blackburn game next week.

I think the South Stand is also a waste of time because as soon as we ever get any of the bigger clubs in the cup they have to be moved somewhere else.

I've said the South Stand is the wrong place for the vocal area since Portsmouth came in 2003 and it's never changed. It's like an away section of home fans with, as you say, away fans on one side and the old men on the other. It's the worst place on L1 there could be to try and be the voice for the stadium.

West Ham were great tonight, you guys were either drowned out or pretty quiet due to lack of numbers.

The atmosphere picked up after the Poznan, so I'd say that if the crowd is quiet in a game you guys need to kick start a Poznan to get the rest of the ground awake and up for it and then the atmosphere will charge up.

The away fans being where they are is an atmosphere problem, even if the Hammers were piss funny tonight.

Would love to be involved in this next Wednesday if I can. Sitting in 109 with season ticket on the cup scheme. Will this affect anything? Ie - can we/i be reallocated?
