I’m not going to slag him. In a tough spot and doing his best. Clearly doesn’t have the legs anymore but needs must. Still pretty tidy but easy to dispossess in tight spaces. That’s just his legs. We need to buy a cm desperately in January.

Shame we can’t play him further up where I think he can still offer something. Not sure he was that good at DM even when he was at his best.
 
Felt if he kept his game simpler, he will have better games. Cut out the little clever twists and turns he likes to do because he's not as agile anymore.
 
Did what he could in a position that's not his with zero help. His intelligence and experience is a big help, he's doing a lot of unnoticed or unappreciated good work in there, he just cannot do it all.

He shouldn't be playing that role, but he is and he's doing the best he can.
 
He was one of the best players in spain last year so it was reasonable to bring him home so i dont blame pep for taking him back. I think he can play well but sparingly . He is trying his best without his usual team mates like kev and rodders , him, kev and bernie were really good last game so it is still in all of them

Lets be kinder to gundy , he has been overplayed due to the injuries , he is not a loser, he is a winner and will be doing all he can
 
Pre Barcelona Gundo was like Elvis in jailhouse rock but since he has come back he is more like Elvis in his Las Vegas residency

This is it , i dont believe he was brought back to play every game , not lost his intelligence but the body is struggling

Agree.

Assume he thought he was being brought back as a rotational AM. Instead he is playing every 3 days in the most demanding position in the world in a Pep team and is nackered. I think he would be fine if he had Kova beside him/allowing him to rotate.

I actually feel a bit sorry for him but hes not hiding, he hasnt stopped once and is doing his best, all you can ask.

Horrible watching him tonight
Not his fault he’s playing far to much this season and doesn’t have the legs to do it
But he will always be a legend
 
Wonder why Barca let him go after one season, way past it, shame because he was incredible post that move.
