A really bad substitution…again. Is not the player to be bringing on to try to defend a lead, especially when we’ve already seen the results of it multiple times this season.

Gutted it’s gone the way it has. Just too slow, you see glimpses of what we expected from him every now and again but they’re all too minimal. Coupled with the rest of the squad being lazy and backing out of tackles, it’s a recipe for disaster and one that just means he’s having to chase back but with no legs to actually do it.

The issue was he was brought on instead of Kova when he has done his better work alongside kova. The PSG midfield is top quality and we are dads army. I dont blame gundo, we prob should have had him, kova and bernardo in there and kept it tight but hindsight is wonderful.

It is pep fault. He should spend some game time to train other CM options to play deep together with Kova/Gundo rather than only investing game time only on Gundo and Lewis.

All rather reminiscent of Fernandinho. Once the legs go at this level, technique and intelligence will only carry you so far, and that tends not to be anywhere near the man you're chasing.

The club should offer him a coaching position, however.

All of you wronguns better apologise for blaming Gundo this season, he was never the problem.

I told everyone the system + rico lewis who still plays like a u21 academy player constantly left him exposed in that pivot.

Have Kovacic or Rodri mopping it up behind Gundo.

dont think he had a good game. some neat passes but thats about it. takes way too long when receiving the ball and most times he goes back to our goal.

offers nothing defensively.

him and kova are probably the best choice with what we have atm but our middle is wide open. no mobility, no legs, no cover or help to our backline unfortunately.

I thought he was awful again, every time he received posession, his first thought was to turn back instead of looking forward , time and again he ignored team mates in good positions

He’s also a liability when we lose the ball

Some fans opinions are based solely on the game result. City win = everyone played well. City lose = everyone was shit.

Im with you, I thought he was terrible. He was blowing out of his arse after 5 mins. He played well against Ipswich, he did not play well yesterday.
