He's probably played a lot more minutes, but I imagine his actual appearances number would've been pretty similar, yeahHas he played more because of injuries? Probably but not much more.

A good backup mid, sure. But i won't go as far as calling him a perfect backup for Rodri.Another year? Fine by me. A master at managing the final quarter of a game.
Ilkay Gundogan is top qualty, at 34/35, a perfect backup for Rodri next season.

He certainly took his vitamins. Even on their first gosl, he almost nocked the ball from them.in their backfield. If Kev and Maca had his energy, thry probably would have nocked it from Palace just before the went to score.I know it's only one game but just watched the City v Palace game again and he was excellent. What also surprised me was his physicality and battling spirit throughout the whole game. Can contribute a lot to the team and definitely worth keeping for one more season.
Is Fernandinho back, or on the way back?Alongside Fernandinho both are good additions to the coaching staff. Fingers crossed we don't have to rely on Gundo too much as a player.
As a coach I thought it is a done deal?Is Fernandinho back, or on the way back?
Thats good news so.As a coach I thought it is a done deal?
I think after listening to him speak for a few years he’s absolutely destined for a coaching role. Not sure it’ll be with Pep though.I suspect he is being lined up for a coaching role, and his statements this week about the balance between tactics and endeavour were very apt.
Similar to Arteta? He lasted a couple of season's before he got poached by Arsenal.I think after listening to him speak for a few years he’s absolutely destined for a coaching role. Not sure it’ll be with Pep though.
Poles apart.Similar to Arteta?
Not much in it. Gundo shades it in terms of playing career but both started at the bottom in terms of first team coaching.Poles apart.
Thats LewandowskiPoles apart.
He is not as mobile as he has been but such an intelligent footballer and very good player. I wouldn’t be in a rush to see him out of the door, especially with KDB going.I know it's only one game but just watched the City v Palace game again and he was excellent. What also surprised me was his physicality and battling spirit throughout the whole game. Can contribute a lot to the team and definitely worth keeping for one more season.
Personality wise I think they’re poles apart (gundo and arteta). I don’t see gundo working with pep. I see him back in Germany, ?dortmund and starting there. IMO he has a completely different character to pep and I don’t think they’d work well as a coaching team. Not much in it.
