All the publicity has been about Haaland, but this young man has the potential to become another World-class player, if Pep stays for the rest of his contract imagine what he and Foden can do for City, along with Haaland

The most promising part of his performance in this world cup IMO was his passing. He showed a range and ability that we've not yet seen at City and I think he'll be vital to linking Haaland and the rest of the team, whether it's playing as a second striker, or on the RW.

Too many games this season it's been Haaland in the middle on his own with everyone else miles away. Alvarez is the link.

Really pleased for him, deserves a lot of praise for his performances. I don't think we will see Julian back at City until mid January, but there is a lot more to come from him without a doubt.

How difficult can 442 be.

I think we do what we’ve done on occasions and have Cancelo pushing up and basically playing LW in possession, allowing Alvarez to move central off the left of the front 3. Which in turn means Foden RW. Back 3 in possession, as usual.

In possession:
……………………..….Haaland………………….……
Cancelo……Alvarez….……KDB……..….Foden
…………………………………………………………………
………………Bernardo….…Rodri……………………
…………………………..….……………………….……..
….…Laporte/Ake…RD/JS/MA…Walker……..

………………………….Ederson………………………..

Lol all you want, but he's basically not had any break from football for nearly 2 years.

Apart from anything else, he needs to go back to Argentina and celebrate their win with his team mates.

If he's back with us in mid January, he has plenty of time/games to contribute.
He's been sat on the bench most weeks for City, he only started games once Haaland picked up an injury. He's young aswell so will be fine, Pep knows what he's doing with him. He'll probably get a week or two off like the rest of those that have been involved in the World Cup.

I absolutely love the guy though, think he'll prove to be an upgrade on Sterling and Jesus once he settles and gets more opportunities with us. He reminds me of Carlos Tevez the way he plays. An absolute terrier without the ball but a real quality finisher with the ball. I'd love to see him, Haaland and Foden as our front 3 at some stage.

I'm sure we will.

Not sure it matters much, he's 22, and still being integrated into City, yet since he arrived he's been involved in 20 games for us (all comps), and scored 7.

Also he's basically not had a break from football for 2 years, so he's doing very well for me, and has looked very good at the WC, once he got into the team.
