Gabriel Jesus was a good finisher for us. He was a tad unfortunate in last season's draw he was a fraction offside (the types of decisions our rivals tend to get).

He was good today, lots of chasing them down and didn't give their keeper a minute on the ball. Deserved his goal. Needs to be less easy to knock off the ball but that will come.

I seriously think this guy would be seen as a top 3 striker in the World if he were getting starters minutes. Who else is there right now to compete? Kane and then out of prime Benzema and Lewandoski. Maybe that guy from Napoli.

Every time he starts, he scores. His overall effort is magnificent as well. If it wasn't for Haaland, he would be more widely considered one of the greatest young strikers in in the world.

At first I was going to say "Julian would be the 2nd best striker in the World if he was a starter" obviously implying Haaland is the number one without question, but then I remembered Kane (which, btw, I'm not so sure would be considered better than Julian without argument if Julian was getting starter minutes).

The lad makes things happen. We are too deep into the season now to be tinkering but next season pep has to find an extra option where we can get him on the pitch with big earl and kdb more often. Still think he could easily do an inside winger role for us.
