If you guys dont mind him Real Madrid will.Hopefully its the latter as River will as with Enzo gain a lot
Is it? Sounds to me like an astute prediction. What a strange comment
Crazy to think we signed the best young striker in the world and Erling Haaland in one window
He barely plays for us. I'm sure he's fine. He's a wonderful footballer but he has not had a break for over a year now and must be going on adrenaline just now, don't be surprised if he has a bit of a come down after this tournament.
I wouldn't be surprised if he breaks out in the premier League next season rather than the second half of this season.

I wanna see it
Alvarez is great, great, great. One of the best young players in the world right now, and one of the best strikers in England.Serious question
He has been brilliant in the World Cup but is he any higher in Pep's picking order?
Wilfried Bony says hi.Man, signing Grealish was comfortably the worst decision we've made since the takeover. I have no clue what our (usually excellent) board were thinking. You're right, this would be great, but it would mean Pep admitting that Jack isn't good enough, which we would never allow.
Of course that's what everyone is asking. We need to try and get him on the pitch with Earl.Alvarez is great, great, great. One of the best young players in the world right now, and one of the best strikers in England.
But I feel, looking at this forum, that a lot of City fans have forgotten exactly how good Erling Haaland is, since it's been nearly two months since we had the pleasure of watching him at full fitness. Remember the hat-trick against United? Remember the volley vs Dortmund? The 4th goal vs Palace, opener against Brighton, etc. Alvarez is good, but he's not THAT good. No shame in being not quite as good as one of the best young strikers in the history of the game, though.
If you're asking whether he's up the pecking order on the wings, though, I would say maybe? But he's clearly better centrally. I'd like to see a 442 regardless, as I'm really not a fan of Jack or the current iteration of Mahrez, and I think Foden is way better centrally.
Come on, that was clearly tongue in cheekCome on. Alvarez is great. Haaland is vastly better.
think he's grown a ton in this WC tourney, City gets the benefitAfter the first few games he played for City I thought he might be a little quiet and lack a little personality. I thought he may get overawed by the other players and forgotten about. Seems Im an idiot
Hi there. Do one. Thanks. If you guys dont mind him Real Madrid will.Hopefully its the latter as River will as with Enzo gain a lot
Playing Alvarez on the wing is not an improvement on Grealish or Mahrez.Alvarez can literally play anywhere in the front 3 though, so no need to be facetious. If we want to just let Alvarez be a backup striker to Haaland and ONLY that, then we can kiss goodbye to him within a few years. We’ll need to use him from a wider position, or change formation and play him behind Haaland. But that affects KDB quite a bit, unless we go with a back 3. But these are the conversations Pep and his coaching staff will be having. Alvarez can’t be ignored.
Agüero, Demichelis, Zabaleta (2014)Has there ever been a current City player in a World Cup final before? I really can’t think of one.
