There's no British part of Ireland, but since you asked I'm from Kerry.

I thought that might get a nibble! I don't really care to be honest, but I'm glad you stand by your principles when it comes to Grealish. Those calves were made for Gaelic football.

The most promising part of his performance in this world cup IMO was his passing. He showed a range and ability that we've not yet seen at City and I think he'll be vital to linking Haaland and the rest of the team, whether it's playing as a second striker, or on the RW.

Too many games this season it's been Haaland in the middle on his own with everyone else miles away. Alvarez is the link.
Haaland has been saying a couple times too that he likes playing with Alvarez and that they could in fact play together.

I think if you go back and watch some of his performances already then you'll be pleasantly surprised. He's already shown great vision and ability to play quick mid-to-long range passes a few times, even with his left. It's one of the first things which surprised me about him in his first appearance in pre season (maybe Club America).

He's incredible. He's been one of my missus' favourites since he walked in the door I think partly because she looks at him and sees a young lad trying to make it in the European game. I look at him and see a dead eyed killer.

There has to be a way to play him and Erling more often. I feel like they are made for each other.

Tevez, Higuain, Aguero, Daybala and Martinez combined have 7 goals in the WC for Argentina.

Alvarez has 4 on his own. He was a big reason for Messi and Argentina winning.

Arg also went 445 mins without conceding a goal with him on the pitch they first conceded in the final through Mbappe penalty.

his work rate enabled Messi to do his thing while keeping Argentina shape. His clinical won them games.

Watch the first two group games when Lautaro started and then watched when Alvarez starts ground to sky difference he changed the dynamics of the team.

Agree, his work rate was beyond anything I've ever witnessed.

What also impressed me apart from this work rate and obviously the 4 goals was his attitude. He was so aggressive in defence and attack, it was incredible to watch.

He needs to start every big game in either a front 3 or a front 2.

The young lad runs like theres no tomorrow thats why he was subbed every match, it was just not sustainable. That said i thought he looked more comfortable roaming and playing counter ball than the city thing. He reads the open spaces beautifully and has a fast read of the game, argentina doesnt win shit without him as lautaro was awful this world cup.

Pep ball is a different beast though, less space, slower pace, we'll see how he does

Argentina's team plane just landed in Buenos Aires, go to youtube, search argentina, choose the 'live' filter ... and you can pick from several live feeds of the welcome back home
