I hope we win both, that pretty much we become an undisputed champion this season.
I reckon it’s an awareness that Pep will see his effort as the standard and anyone not matching it will be considered performing poorly (and may play less as a result).I get that some games call for different personnel or a slightly different approach but we need to find a way of getting him in the starting eleven as much as possible. His relentless pressing sets the tone for everyone else to follow and if you're a teammate watching him work that hard it must be infectious.
Something about Argentinian players , the hunger and 100% commitment they show , you cannot train or teach that , he never gave Chelsea's defence a minute of peace , superb at holding the ball up and chases lost causes.
Reminds me of Tevez , and with more experience i dont see why he cannot reach that level.
Spot on, jesus did it for us in previous seasons too, he always set the tone of the game from the front and it always had a big impact on our game but a large chunk of our fans never appreciated it even 4 years in.I get that some games call for different personnel or a slightly different approach but we need to find a way of getting him in the starting eleven as much as possible. There's iron in his soul and he'll keep on putting it in where it counts.A fairway to go,but once he gets into the swing of things.....
Foden is good from the right n’all. There's no reason he can't play LW in games like today where the LB is overlapping and holding the width.
LW - Grealish, Foden, Alvarez
ST - Haaland, Alvarez
RW - Mahrez, Palmer
CAM - KdB, Foden, Alvarez
That's kind of where I think the attacking depth lies. Alvarez can easily play 3 out of 4 spots with wide fullbacks, and RW we just have 2 others who can really only play there anyways, so not needed.

The difference he made yesterday was fantastic. Our pressing was back to its very best. Lots of comments about Chelsea being shit but for most of the game yesterday we were like a pack of wolves every time they got the ball they were faced with three of four round them. Great to see.I get that some games call for different personnel or a slightly different approach but we need to find a way of getting him in the starting eleven as much as possible. I was about to make fun of you for saying “Argentinian” but it really is a different language to Spanish (hence why Kepa’s trash talk probably didn’t hit with Julian), so you get a pass… this time.Don't know if you've seen his post game interview, but he seems to understand English very well already, and just prefers to respond in Argentinian to make sure there is nothing lost in translation
He seems like such a good kid, can't wait to see how he further develops going into next season
Haha you're giving me too much credit, as I never gave it that level of thought!I was about to make fun of you for saying “Argentinian” but it really is a different language to Spanish (hence why Kepa’s trash talk probably didn’t hit with Julian), so you get a pass… this time.
Pep has to find a way to fit Haaland and Alvarez in the team
