His workrate is an underrated trait to have. It’s on par with Jesus’ (who I thought we’d miss) but he’s a better all-round player.

Touch can be off but he has a happy knack of making things happen.

He definitelty needs to up his game, but that doesn't mean he's not worthy of praise for everything that he does on the pitch. The problem is that some people think that just because he didn't cost 100M he should be considered a subpar player having to prove his worth every game.

He's been out of sorts but a nice cameo against Leipzig a great player to come off the bench and change games.

He's a really good finisher, as soon as the ball came to him, you're thinking goal. He's very calm in those situations.

Every time he comes on as a sub he's electric and makes things happen. He definitely needed to be pulled from the starting lineup after a handful of mediocre performances but that's the perfect way to respond. Make an impact and get yourself right back in contention.

The problem is thar if you send Julian as a permanent game-changing substitute, he will have very short periods of playing time, since Pep doesn't like to make subs.

I thought him coming on was the best he's looked in over a month, maybe being a sub gave him a point to prove. I mentioned a few days ago on this thread i thought his performances over the last 4-5 weeks looked like he was a bit complacent because he had become a regular starter and made a great start to the season.

But thought he looked good last night. Well taken goal and took up very good positions.

Nice head of hair he has too.
