I think he may well be moved on for big money in the summer while his stock is still high.

He is 20 goal a season striker ,problem with letting him go is that Haaland is non-committal to the club .

Even if Halaand leaves I don't think Alvarez will be the one as the main no 9.

Doesn't need to be cheaper. As for better... The lad isn't being allowed to play his natural game as a striker at City. He's being used as a makeshift midfielder, like Jesus was.
We need another proper midfielder and imo preferably go back to false 9 when Haaland isn't playing.

Would have Jesus back in a heartbeat in place of Alvarez on his current form , but neither of them would be good enough to be our number one striker , although i would have a look at Izak at Newcastle he is a really good striker , has pace and can finish with aplomb.

Made a lot of really good runs and took up good positions but once he gets the ball hes badly out of form and generally fucked it up.
