is the game at Newcastle in 68 available in colour?

im amazed when i watch it thats its balck and white and of poor quality...
the rags european cup win a few days later is in technicolour.....

I’m sure I read on here that back then, if games were filmed by local television they were of low quality greyscale. Newcastle v City will have been filmed by Tyne-Tees Television and will only have been of that grainy poor quality we’ve ever seen of it since.

would be nice to have it cleaned up and upgraded to colour. i`m surpirsed the club havent done this already
 
So it's not my imagination that for the most part contemporary football writing is utterly piss poor.

"They have been lauded to the skies, and they have had their office windows smashed by disgruntled supporters." Great line - could have been written in the 80's or 90's. Or 2000s.

According to the Guardian's own obituary it seems that Eric Todd was demoted when the Manchester Guardian moved to London. Only serves to confirm all my prejudices about that newspaper.
