Lived Moss Side/Rusholme when i was a kid, and used to sneak in when the reserves were playing and use Maine Rd as a playground. Still remember the shock of the colours of the grass and shirts the first time i went in there (haven't a clue who the opposition were, but i think Neil Young was playing).
First proper game was Arsenal home, October 74. Losing 0-1, before Tueart scored twice and getting carried off after being injured scoring the second.
Life changing evening and hooked (for better or worse) since.
