Excellent game yesterday and that cross he put in the Rag box just before we scored the first goal was absolutely delicious.
Really like Walker as a player, has brainfarts every now and then mainly through over confidence but I'm prepared to put up with that , his pace at the back is a massive plus to us

There's a growing list of wingers that have been completely neutralised by Walker.

He's a different style of defender but he's developing that Ashley Cole like aura where attacking players just don't bother with him.

Mbappé is still the most satisfying one to see struggle against him.
Mbappe said himself that he’s not human and has been his toughest opponent. High praise indeed and deservedly so. I was at a funeral a few weeks ago and got pelters for putting him in my all time City XI over Zabaleta.

Love the guy to death, always comes and applauds us at away games after the final whistle even when we get beat he makes an effort, Just recently at PSG he came over which we appreciated and he does it at England games also.

I always feel safe when Kyle plays. For City and England. Anywhere else he would be a captain... he's always giving orders and marshalling players. Love the guy. A fellow Yorkshireman (soz)

I think Walker is having his best season for us.
For a while, his default attacking ball was square, or backwards to John Stones.
His confidence has rocketed, as has his ability to turn defence into a quick attack e.g. his diagonal cross field balls to Grealish/Foden.
He is also now recreating his overlaps which he had stopped doing so frequently.
As with the rest of the squad, he looks so comfortable on the ball.
Together with his (still) lightening pace, he is the perfect 3rd defender when Cancelo often moves into midfield.
Obviously he is not as highly rated in the Media as Trent & Reece, but I reckon Southgate still quite rightly, thinks he is the best right back...

Spot on this. I personally think Kyle is City's most improved player this season and the best RB in the League

Just great to hear Pep's comments, today, about just how good Kyle has been recently.
Just seen the comments and I 100% agree with them. I have been critical of Walker in the past but this season he is in the form of his life. We’ve always known he was a good defender with the occasional brain-fart thrown in, but he looks a completely different player on the ball this season. No longer is every ball a 5 yard square pass to the CB. Really, really impressed with him.

With him and Cancelo we have never had it so good at full back.
