Pep is really taking the piss with him and is making him look shite but not passing it to thor was braindead , probably thinking about his next call girl appointment
you got out of bed the wrong side this morning?

Pep wants Walker to fail whilst when he plays he's only thinking of his next sexual misadventure?
Really Kaz?

Has Pep taken away his pace or is that the fault of the hooker?

Fuckin hell I think people are going a bit overboard with the Kyle bashing. Is he the next boo boy? He’s had a couple of shit games and been played in an alien position ffs
He needs to get in the fairly long line that’s forming if he wants to be our new boo boy…

I’m fucking dreading our first defeat of the season!! Haha!

He had a hell of a season last year. This year he looks well off it. Perhaps he just needs a break but he is playing non-stop for City and England and something has to give.

He had an "okay" season last year.

Don't forget he like an idiot got himself red carded vs RB Leipzig.
He gave the ball away vs Spurs for the 3rd goal.
Tripped himself over Vinicius and took himself out of the defense in the CL semi 2nd leg.

Was he a disaster? no.
Was he amazing last season like Laporte? no.
So just an okay season. Can do better!

Been poor so far. That inverted role isn't for him, he can't use his left foot and he is too predicatable with his passing. If he were to be marking central areas for the counter fine, but Saint Maximin had so much more space and time due to his starting position and utilised that to great effect. Cancelo is more comfortable centrally but it doesn't suit Walker at all and the rest of his game is impacted negatively as a result.

The miss was silly but a rush of blood, but at 0-0 he has to do better. At 4-0 he can try and score.

Yeah a huge miss. You and every other City fan seen what happened when he was out of the team against Real Madrid and in the run in, we simply don't have a better right back.
Sevilla is not Real Madrid. They don't have Vinicius, Jr. We won't need that level of pure defender but we could use better ball retention, passing and decision making.

I think a lot of the criticism of Kyle is unfair. He’s a great defensive minded RB with pace to burn. He’s not a skilful, tidy midfielder so him being exposed having so much of the ball in the middle of the park is the system not him. Teams are allowing him to have the ball in space as they know he ain’t gonna hurt them when he is in midfield. Pep needs to rethink Walkers “new” role or Walker has to get better at it…. both take time and it’s early days in this season. Kyle is a top pro and we are very lucky to have him in our squad.

If you're talking about Cancelo then he hasn't been that great at keeping the ball recently. Anyway it looks like Walker's out so we are going to have to shuffle the pack anyway.

Agree with this, don't write Walker off just yet. He has been an excellent rb for us, but this new inverted role doesn't suit him. Play him in the role he is used to and I still think he is a very good fb.

You're right, he hasn't, I agree. It remains to be seen if moving to the right can get him going. That said, under this new formation, both Walker and Cancelo, on his off side, have struggled.

He is our most important defender who has been playing through an injury by the sounds of things. If he is out for a length of time again he will be badly missed.
