I thought against Bournemouth that he’d either lost a yard or he just wasn’t fully fit yet. He’s got another week of work in him now and he still looks a little sluggish. Worrying.

Agreed. He's not a good technical player or passer (relative to the rest of the team), and playing him in that position means he ends up out of position for his main job. He never gets beat one-on-one, but this game he's been beaten multiple times because he's always starting from a position he wouldn't normally be. There's a reason why for the past few seasons, we've mainly been playing just Cancelo or Zinchenko in that role, not both full backs.

It's also disappointing because this is the third game he's done it, so obviously Eddie Howe had ample opportunity to prepare for it, and it shows.
 
He is becoming an issue.

Still has pace,for now,but anything that involves any other type of defending leaves him and us exposed.
 
Not a good time to have one of your worst games in a City shirt. To be honest a few others didn't did perform either.
