Surely Bernardo is responsible more than anyone for his own dip in form?
He is,but,in mitigation,i don't think we set up to get the best out of some of our players.

Sterling,Mahrez,Rodri and KDB are all 'underperforming' too,is it purely down to a lack of form?

Of course players have to take responsibility but they currently seem shackled by our tactics,Bernardo isn't alone in that respect.

I'd also like to see him in a more cohesive system, with more licence to dictate and roam,in a 3 alongside Foden and KDB,playing in front of a stable defence and behind the front man/men.
Bernardo had just one good season for us in absence of KDB. I would like to see him sold if he doesn't step up his game. His Performance has nothing to do with pep. It's just finding ridiculous excuses for him. He and only he is responsible for his performance.

We have a stable defence this season and he has played in 6/8 games. Recently, Absolutely dreadful Against spurs couldn't even take a shot. KDB , mahrez are both performing better compared to Bernardo even though they aren't playing their best games. Mahrez has goal/impactful contribution, so has sterling and KDB has even more. High time he steps up his play

Sure, being in a poorer playing side is on the manager mostly.

But Mahrez's recent dip is down to him. He's been a square peg many times and been better than as of late. The other 3 haven't dipped anywhere near as severely as Bernardo (I personally don't think Rodri has dipped at all but that's another discussion).

And last season all of the players you mentioned above managed to contribute more than Bernardo despite all the issues we had.

There are valid questions to be asked of Pep as of late but Bernardo is such an outlier that he has to be looked at differently. It's not like he even has the excuse of injuries either.

We don't play a stable defence as Pep has his fullbacks playing in midfield half the time, which suffocates the space there, and leaves us exposed to the counter attack.

Rodri hasnt dipped,i agree. However, neither are we seeing him at his best because of our tactics.

So you're upset with Pep because he's not playing a midfield consisting entirely of attacking midfielders.

No,i'm not excusing him just offering a possible reason.

Bernardo always performs well for his National team, why is that?
He doesn't though. He was recently benched for the first time in a long time. He's not as bad with them as with us but he's not the level he was in 18/19 that's for sure.
