We signed him as a winger and people saw that they shared a name and some physical attributes and decided he would be the David Silva replacement.

Even when he's been decent in the middle he'd played nothing like David. And while we're at it, people need to stop talking like we're going to find replicas of the likes of David, Kompany, Aguero, Yaya and Fernandinho because we'll be waiting decades. Those players have been special for a reason. Same will happen with Kev.

We don't play a stable defence as Pep has his fullbacks playing in midfield half the time,which suffocates the space there,and leaves us exposed to the counter attack.

Whatever you say to find excuses for him. He has ZERO impact even if we win or lose the game. Even foden has much better performances than him. Bernardo also played in right wing for a game or two this season and nothing. NADA. It's not like he is brilliant for the national team either. He dip in form that has nothing to do with pep. If he was bought with the intention of being a winger why did we purchase yet another right sided winger (Mahrez) just 12 months later, after a season where Bernardo barely got a look in on the right ahead of Sterling? Bernardo then went on to play much of the next season in midfield.

Not expecting him to be a carbon copy of David, that’s not what I said. He was the next most senior creative midfielder in our squad when Silva was leaving, and he has done nothing to fill that void so far.

Contributed nothing last season and from the limited times I’ve watched us the season is contributing nothing again , he can’t rely on the fact that he had a great first season or he’s a nice bloke , he either steps up to the plate or gets replaced .

Why we bought Mahrez is anyone's guess. He was a third bollock then and he's proven to be even more pointless now. What's even better is that he was the backup plan to Alexis fucking Sanchez. No idea what anyone was thinking there other than maybe marketing potential.

And that second point wasn't about you, it's about this forum's obsession with comparing every newer player to an old one.
